Not without some sort of barrier of air. Saiyans can't breath in space.

Saiyans don't need a lot of oxygen to survive but that doesn't mean they can just fly from planet to planet. Not to mention the distance. Namek is like...how far again?

Considering that Vegeta died when Freeza destroyed Earth Id say no he couldn't.

The explosion didn't kill Vegeta, the vacuum of space did because Freeza survived the explosion. Freeza survived Namek's explosion when he was weaker, cut in half and blasted by Goku, so Vegeta easily has the durability to survive the Earth exploding, he just can't survive in space for any period of time.

No. Saiyans are unable to survive without oxygen, as Emmeth said above. Vegeta would implode.

No point in bringing up Bardock, but why could Goku?

You could say it was because he was a god, but he's also fine when he drops the god form. Posted Image

Are they actually in space though? I remember back when BoG the movie released and people assumed Goku could survive in space when they weren't fighting in space at all - but in the stratosphere.

So do you think beerus can't survive/breathe in space too?

Why else would Whis use a bubble to travel from place to place?

Pretty sure that's from the effect of him moving so fast via the staff. Whis and Beerus were shown floating outside the planet they blew up in their first scene together.

Yeah, that's the stratosphere. I'm pretty sure that much is stated in Super (not sure about the movie).

That's kind of dumb, but I guess it's just a show.

...How is it dumb? It makes perfect sense.

Especially since the DB Earth is arguably smaller than our Earth.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

That is the stratosphere. It is the same thing from World's Strongest where Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin go there

Goku outright freaks out when Whis throws him into space. Goku is knocked outside the bubble when they leave the supreme kai world of universe 10 to see if Zamasu is evil. Goku freaks and rushes back to whis where it is safe for him to be.
